Free or Paid Events (With Fundraising Needs)
There are options for event planners to build fundraising into an event's registration process. Please be advised that all fundraising efforts must be coordinated through the Advancement division at Loyola University Chicago.
Built-in donations: Costs associated with your event (such as tickets) can have a portion of the cost allocated as a donation. In this scenario, the non-gift revenue is considered "goods and services" and will need to be deposited into a non-gift operating account at Loyola. The donation portion of the ticket will be considered a tax-deductible donation that will need to be deposited into a gift account at Loyola.
Optional donations: An optional donation area of the registration where event registrants can write-in a donation of their chosen amount.
